Rachel Dahl’s Experience

Rachel M. Dahl’s practice includes comprehensive estate planning, probate and trust administration, guardianships and conservatorships, business formation and succession planning, farm succession planning, real estate, and agriculture law.

Rachel works with individuals, farm families, and business owners to design estate and succession plans that meet their individual needs and goals, while keeping the farm operation, business, and family structure in mind. She frequently drafts wills and trusts utilizing disclaimer and credit shelter planning provisions, and provides estate tax and asset protection recommendations. Rachel also prepares plans involving irrevocable trusts, life insurance trusts, special and supplemental needs trusts, and charitable trusts.

Rachel is a graduate of Mitchell Hamline School of Law in Saint Paul, Minnesota. While in law school, she served as an associate for the Journal of Public Law and Policy, served as a law clerk for two Ramsey County District Court judges, and as a volunteer for the Minnesota Wills for Heroes program.

Rachel earned her bachelor’s degree from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, where she double majored in Biology and English. She is licensed to practice law in Minnesota, Iowa, and South Dakota.
